Why have a Good Government?
A good government is important to have because it prevents tyranny and protects our natural rights. It protects the citizens and assures us that the power is evenly distributed among different branches and rulers.
Some examples of a good government are; the separation of powers, limited government, popular sovereignty, federalism, and checks and balances. Other examples include documents such as the U.S constitution, the English Bill of Rights, and the Magna Carta. All these examples help prevent tyranny by distributing the power. The ruler doesn't have it all, being the only one to make rules and laws.
